Joe Heffernan has been with Horizon Engineering since 2004. He brings four prior years experience from another air pollution testing organization in
Illinois for a total of more than 11 years of professional experience in the field of air quality. He has performed hundreds of source tests at a wide variety of industrial
sources domestically and internationally and has developed the skills necessary to earn the title of Project Manager. He performs source emission testing and
activities related to source emission testing, including field sampling, test equipment maintenance and calibration, equipment preparation, and in-field data
recording.
Joe is a Qualified Source Test Individual (QSTI), Groups I, II, III, and IV. He received his B.S. in Physical Education,
with a Minor in Marketing, from Northern Illinois University, 1999.
